Baby Harpers fresh 48 session was held in Raleigh at the Rex Women's Center, one of my favorite places. The windows at Rex are huge and allow the most beautiful light to flow into the rooms and light up those sweet newborn faces. Baby Harper's session was no exception, I arrived to find her snuggled up ever so tight, her little face so sweet and squishy with mom and dad over joyed to have welcomed their sweet girl into the world.
A fresh 48 session is usually held at the hospital within the first two days of life. It's fresh- as in brand new. The goal of these very important sessions to to capture the firsts. First snuggles, first feedings, first meetings of siblings and grandparents.
When Harpers grandparents and big brother walked into the room I was there to capture it all. I know that these photos will be so treasured in the years to come. The way that Wyatt reacted to his sister was so sweet and funny. You can tell he was a bit overwhelmed at the new addition.
Someday when they are all grown they can have a good laugh at his reaction to meeting her.
