This videography session was one of my all time favorites. When Larissa first told me of her plans to capture her daughters reaction to meeting their baby broth or sister for the first time I was thrilled. What an honor to be asked to document such a special time.
In order to tell the complete story I zipped on over to the Wed Med Women's Center in Cary to meet the baby and to capture the last moments that Larissa and Doug would be able to enjoy life with just one child to look after at the hospital; their two sweet girls were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new sibling at home with their aunt.
The time at the hospital with the baby is so special and brief. There's nothing like bringing a new baby into the world and the hospital stay often is a blur. Capturing this time is important-even if it doesn't seem like it at the time.
I had also gone over to the family's house to chat with the girls about meeting their baby brother or sister while they were waiting. As a filmmaker/videographer it's my job to tell a story. I wanted to make sure that the family would be able to relive the anticipation/ joy and excitement of that day for years to come. This meant getting all the little pieces of the story captured.
As you can see from the video everything went according to plan, the family is thrilled with having their family memories captured in this Newborn video and I am so blessed to have been able to put this film/ video together from them.
